Frost & Ice Photos

Photographer Tim Penney has sent some photos of a recent excursion into the meadows up to Croteau Lake. Only boots were required – no snowshoes yet!
It was cold and sunny, but with no wind it was a very pleasant stroll. We were able to walk all three lakes, Battleship, Lady and Croteau on the ice. I hope to get out again tomorrow,” Tim says.

About this last photo, Tim says “Sunset reflected in ice on the way back from Battleship Lake. Image with no filter. The reflected colour in the ice is from the sun.”
