A month into the season at the Strathcona Park Wilderness Centre, and a great variety of visitors have already stopped in to the Centre for Park & trail information.
International visitors have come from New Zealand, Australia, Guatemala, South Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Martinique.
Visitors from Europe have come from the UK (including England, Ireland, Scotland), France, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Hungary, and Russia.
Visitors from the USA have come from 13 states to date: Washington, Oregon, California, Missouri, Oklahoma, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Mexico, Colorado, New York, Florida, and Texas.
Canadian visitors have come from eight provinces & territories so far: Yukon, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland.
It’s great to see such diversity! Keeping a record of where visitors come from is extremely helpful, to demonstrate the value of the information services provided by Strathcona Wilderness Institute.
