More photos from Easter weekend were received from SWI volunteer Jana Tomanek who visited Upper & Lower Myra Falls at the south end of Buttle Lake in the heart of Strathcona Park.
Spring is a good time for viewing the waterfalls in the Buttle Lake area as the water volume is higher due to snow melt.
“Both the upper and lower falls are spectacular at this time of the year,” she says. “Yellow violets are in full bloom at the Augerpoint Fire trail.”
Thanks for the photos!
